This ½ day course is designed for is for anyone who works in a setting where food is cooked, prepared or handled. It will enable delegates appreciate the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice.
Course Content and Structure
- Understand responsibilities within Food Safety Procedures
- Understand the Legislation and Requirements for Food Safety
- Know the causes of food poisoning
- Be aware of safe food preparation, handling and storage, in domestic and work environments
- Understand good practice cleaning techniques
- Understand the Importance of Infection Control
- Know who to identify a pest infestation and how to deal with them
